After designating Abraham Nunez for assignment last night. According to Adam Rubin, the Mets will call up the power hitting outfielder Chris Aguila from AAA-New Orleans. Aguila is hitting .308 with 17 HR 40 RBI and has hit eight home runs in his last 11 games.

Aguila was named Player of the Week in the Pacific Coast League.

Could this be the spark we need? If he gets any playing time. We all know Willie loves Endy Chavez and his .214 batting average, sure he's great on defense, but we need some offense. NOW.
